Small Lot Wines

Extremely limited-production Napa Valley wines available exclusively to wine club members, online and at the winery. Just 50 – 500 cases of each wine are produced, allowing the winemakers to showcase varietals and techniques outside of the the winery’s best-known offerings. Currently, the collection includes Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, Syrah, Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, Meritage, and Proprietary Red and White blends. The Small Lot Collection exists to produce extraordinary wines when the winemaker deems a particular lot worthy to become a small lot barrel selection.

2007 Small Lot Syrah

Our first Syrah release

A staff favorite

90% Syrah and 10% Zinfandel with deep garnet color with aromas of dark cherry, cassis, plum, lavender and cinnamon. A full mouth feel with rich concentrated flavors of raspberry, red cherry and red plum followed by notes of blackberry, black licorice and black pepper. Well balanced with a luscious sweet vanilla finish.

2006 Small Lot Petite Sirah

Perfect with hearty winter stews.

94% Petite Sirah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot. With a deep inky hue, this wine has rich aromas of dark plum, blueberry, blackberry and black raspberry with hints of dark chocolate and lilac. A full-bodied Petite Sirah with lush, concentrated flavors of blackberry, black plum and blueberry along with notes of black pepper, cocoa, spice and earth. Well structured with integrated tannins and a long, smooth finish.

2005 Small Lot Red Wine

Versatile and delicious.

61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Petite Sirah, 5% Zinfandel and 1% Cabernet Franc. A richly full-bodied blend that opens with lavender and violet, blackberry, black cherry, clove, pepper and spicy earth aromas followed by luscious flavors of black currant, blackberry, black cherry, black plum, pepper and dark chocolate with notes of tobacco, licorice and vanilla in the long, smooth finish.

2005 Small Lot Meritage

Our first Meritage wine since the 1991 vintage!

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Darkly hued, this wine opens with bright currant, red cherry, cassis, lilac and earthy oak aromas. Full-bodied and concentrated with intense raspberry, cherry, cassis and rhubarb flavors up front, followed by sweet vanilla and a hint of cocoa. Well structured with balanced tannins and a smooth, lingering finish.
